Brow mapping is the most crucial part of creating symmetrical brows that are customized for each client, yet can be the most tedious part for microblading artists. Perfecting your techniques will have your clients leave LUVVING their brows. Follow these 3 mapping tips and we can assure you, you'll see a tremendous difference in your results!
Tip #1
DO align the pencil to the side of the bridge of the nose running straight up to the forehead and press the pencil firmly against the cartilage of your clients nose.
Don't align the pencil with no pressure on the cartilage or on the outside of the nostril.
Tip #2
Do place your pencil diagonally outside of the nostril and go through the outside crease of the outer water line.
Don't place your pencil diagonally outside of the nostril and go under the outside of the eye socket
Tip #3
Do measure each side with a caliper to make sure they are even in length.
We recommend measuring from front to arch and from front to tail.
Don't make assumptions that brows are the same length without properly measuring with a caliper.
